Anybody can open an account. You can be employed, unemployed, retired, a student or even a child. If you are employed or retired, you need to provide your Social Security Number (SSS) and Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN). For students, your student number is acceptable. For In-Trust-For Accounts(below 18), parents need to submit their child's birth certificate and the parent will handle the account. 

Yes, anyone can apply for an ABCSI online trading account for as long as you have a Social Security Number (SSS), Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN), or its equivalent. e.g., Passport Number, Driver's License Number. In the application form, please supply the Gov. ID No. equivalent to the Philippines' SSS/GSIS/TIN No. and if some items are not applicable to you indicate it as "NA."

Select whether you wish to open a Personal Account or Corporate Account.

18 years old or above is the eligible age to open an individual/joint account with AB Capital. If your child is below 18 years old, a parent/guardian needs to open an In-Trust-For account for them. The In-Trust-For account requires the parent/guardian to fill up the form, indicate the name of the child and attach their valid gov. IDs with the child’s birth certificate.

In selecting your username and password, we suggest you use a combination of letters and numbers.  In both cases, it must be at least 6 characters long but not more than 15 characters. We highly recommend you keep your information to yourself if you wish to prevent the unauthorized use of your account.  For your own protection, you must avoid sharing this information with anyone.

There is no minimum/initial deposit amount. Once you submit the application form and deemed complete, in 2-3 working days we will send an email of the activation of your account.

Starting Nov. 19, 2018, you need to supply a bank account from one of our partner banks to open an AB Capital account. You will use this bank account to fund your AB Capital account. Your withdrawals will also be transferred to this bank account as well. For more info, see the Deposit and Withdrawal section of the FAQ.

Yes, you can have a joint account with your significant other or group of friends. Call the Head Office at the no. (632) 898-7555 to inform your wish to have more than two(2) people in the joint account.

It must be signed by both you and your spouse agreeing to open an account singly using the said certificate. Also, both of you will need to endorse the certificate.

At the moment, you can view your online trading transactions only. You still have to register separately for the Online Trading account because the Online Trading Facility is governed by a different set of terms and conditions. You can register online by filling in the Client Account Information Sheet.

An activation email will be sent to your registered email address after the approval of your application. You may then log in using the user ID and password combination that you’ve supplied or you were given. Application process will take 2-3 working days.
